What is Permanent Makeup? Permanent Makeup, also known as Micropigmentation and Permanent Cosmetics is a cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance your brows, lips, upper and lower eyelids and even aereolas and scalp. Varied needle configurations and tools are used to deposit pigment into the upper reticular layer of the dermis. Permanent Makeup is used to enhance your features or recreate features that are not pronounced or have been lost due to aging, a medical condition, genetics, tweezing or scarring. Eyeliner, Eyebrows, Beauty Marks, and Lip procedures are performed in the DollFace office daily. Everyone is not a good candidate for permanent makeup.

What is Microblading? Microblading is an advanced form of permanent makeup, similar to tattooing. This technique is used to create beautiful eyebrows by reconstructing, defining, covering gaps and patchy areas, or filling in over-plucked brows. This procedure creates super fine, crisp hair strokes that mimic hair and produce a very natural looking brow.

What is Microshading? Microshading is an advanced permanent makeup technique that creates a subtle, shade or background shadow behind your natural hair or Microbladed hair strokes. Some clients that have little to no hair may choose to have microshading added with their Microblading to produce a softer brow.

What is the difference between 3D brows, Embroidery brows, Microstroking and Feather brows? Nothing. Depending on what part of the word you are from will dictate what verbage you use for Microblading.
